To start uninstall your Uconnect app. Once uninstalled go to the app store and download it again from there, this should download the most recent firmware version automatically
Once installed, open it up and click connect to system
This will now scan your network and automatically connect you.
Once connected press the menu button as highlighted below
Check your firmware version at the bottom. For android the most recent version is 2.0.7.9 for IOS it is 3.9. as long as your firmware version is one of these you have successfully updated your APP
